About EPSIndex

Investment research tools are hard to compare. Many describe themselves with the same promises, AI features appear in every product page, and it is not always clear whether a tool is for reading filings, picking stocks or selling a trading account.

EPSIndex sorts research tools by the job they do and describes each one in plain words, so you can build a short list and test it yourself. We leave out brokerages, trading signal services and robo-advisors, and we never publish stock picks or tool rankings.

We also add a reminder that recurs across the site: AI tools can be wrong about numbers. The original filing, transcript or data source is still the place to check any figure that matters.

If you spot a mistake, such as a tool that has closed or a feature that changed, tell us through the contact page and we will check and update the listing. We would rather leave a tool out than describe it wrong.

A tool is listed once we have confirmed that its official site is live and that it does what our description says. Each tool sits in the one category that fits its main job. We don't publish scores, rankings or prices, because prices change often and a score would be our opinion presented as a fact. Tools we couldn't confirm stay off the site until we can.

EPSIndex lists research tools, not investments. Nothing on this site is investment advice, and the tools listed here, including their AI features, can be wrong. Check important figures against the company's own filings.
